FAQs

Q: Does my child have to be “gifted” to enroll?
A: The school accepts students who have a “C” average or above in their current school. Because we are able to differentiate instruction, we can provide different activities that will benefit all children.

Q: Is the school accredited?
A: Yes, the school has received dual accreditation from ISACS (Independent School Association of the Central States) and North Central Association.

Q: Can I meet with my child’s teacher anytime?
A: Yes.  We simply ask that you set up an appointment at a mutually beneficial time.

Q: How does the school perform on its’ achievement tests?
A: The median score on our school’s achievement tests is in the 91st percentile.  This means that of all the children who take the test, our students consistently score in the top 10 percent of all students taking this test.  (This score should not be confused with public school’s ISAT percentages. )

Q: What high schools will the children attend after they graduate?
A: Our students will scatter to a number of high schools throughout the area.  Most of our students attend Richwoods, Notre Dame or Dunlap High School.   Our students have been placed in honors courses, are accepted to the IB Programs, take advanced coursework (Spanish or French ¾), place out of Geometry and/or Algebra in high school.
