Student Clubs
Builders Club
Builders Club is a program of Kiwani International, a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time. The club’s goal is to assist young people in taking a role in solving problems and meeting needs of the world around them.
Builders Club provides a way to form sound personal values based on experiences in meaningful community service activities. The members learn by doing. They learn organization, teamwork and leadership. But, the most important lesson is they learn that individuals working together can and do make a difference to the world around them.
Builders Club is open to any student in 5th-8th grade. Meetings are once a month during the middle school lunch period.
Student Council
Each fall, the students at Peoria Academy elect representatives to the school’s Student Council. The Student Council provides our students with leadership opportunities through social activity planning, problem solving and providing leadership within our school community.
