The Middle School Program at Peoria Academy not only equips students for success in secondary school but also actively engages them in connecting classroom subjects to the broader world. With a global perspective and local involvement, our students experience the practical applications of design, mathematics, language and literature, and foreign languages.
Our dedicated teachers seamlessly integrate visual arts, music, nature, and movement into academic lessons, offering middle school students abundant opportunities to explore new creative outlets. Each student spends multiple days a week in the art studio, can participate in our chorus, join the string ensemble, and delve into theater through our performing arts program. Additionally, all students are involved in athletics, either through physical education classes or by joining one of our competitive sports teams. The curriculum is designed to provide a rigorous and well-rounded educational experience that fosters both academic excellence and personal growth.
