Welcome to Peoria Academy Summer Camp 2024!
This fun and enriching camp is open to all kids 5-14 years of age. You don't even need to be a PA student to attend!
PA is offering a range of camp experiences this summer and we would love for you to be a part of this adventure! Camp will run for 9 weeks from June 3rd through August 9th. We have a general camp each week that runs 8:30 am-3:30 pm Monday through Friday and a specialized camp that can be added on in the afternoons. There will be an option to only take the specialized camp in the afternoon or to add these courses along with the general camp. Campers will participate in field trips every week that correspond with that week’s theme as well as swimming each week.
Did we mention there is also aftercare available from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm?

WEEK 1 (June 3 - June 7)
Camp Carnival:
Come one, Come All - Step right up!
Test your luck at everyone’s favorite carnival games and learn how to make your very own funnel cakes and lemon shake ups for a snack! Kids will get to learn how to make balloon animals and do face painting.

WEEK 2 (June 10 - June 14)
The Great Outdoors:
There’s no better way to learn about the outdoors than to get out and immerse yourself in the outdoors! Campers will learn all about camping and survival in the outdoors including putting up their own tents, making s’mores and other campfire snacks/meals, familiarizing themselves with and being able to identify local plants and animals and learning how to leave a place better than how you found it.

WEEK 3 (June 17 - June 21)
Strong Body & Strong Minds:
This week is all about YOU! We are going to learn about healthy foods and exercise that makes your body feel strong and happy! Get that blender ready! - We will be making homemade smoothies and granola bars for a healthy pick me up on busy days! We will also dive into yoga, dance, meditation skills, sports, and physical fitness, all while enjoying being us!

WEEK 4 (June 24 - June 28)
Animal Planet:
Lions, Tigers, and Bears! OH MY!
Let’s learn all about animals! We’ll start the week in the winter tundra and work our way all the way over to the jungles and rainforests of South America. I hope you’re ready to get wild!

WEEK 5 (July 8 - July 12)
Science & STEM:
Calling all scientists & engineers! This week is for you!
Get ready for erupting volcanoes, homemade catapults, marble runs, and so much more! Together we will take a hands-on approach to learning STEAM and how much fun it can be!

WEEK 6 (July 15 - July 19)
H2 WOAH!
CANNON BALL!
I hope you enjoy the water because this week is going to get wet and wild!
What to expect: Watercolor paintings using water guns, learning about water conservation and ocean cleanup, water balloons, slip n slides, creating our very own Jello ocean, water parks, and more. We are going to have a splashing good time!

WEEK 7 (July 22 - July 26)
Land of Make Believe:
Do you know how to use your imagination? Peoria Academy Summer Camp sure does! Each day will be based around different make-believe ideas. For example: Princess. Super hero Day, Wands & Wizardry Day, Jedi Academy, Mythical creatures, and all things Disney!

WEEK 8 (July 29 - August 2)
Little Artists / Art Explosion!
Let’s get creative together!
Get ready to explore the world or visual arts! Let’s use nature as our medium, melt down crayons for a new purpose, use newspaper and toilet tissue to come up with unique clothing designs for our fashion show. Join us in making our own jewelry, finding the perfect pieces to create the most beautiful mosaics and so much more.

WEEK 9 (August 5 - August 9)
The Grand Finale:
Camp may be coming to an end this week, but we would like to close out the summer on a high note! Singing, acting, drama, puppet shows, and skits. We are going to have an amazing Grand Finale!

To receive a full refund, we require written notification two-weeks prior to the start of the camp week.
Credit card fees are not refundable.
